Adoption and Reuse of Semantic Resources and Open Standards

This community of practice is open to all practitioners in public administration dealing with open standards and semantic interoperability.

ARSOS

Who should join?

The community welcomes explicitly all those who work initiatives or contribute directly to initiatives related to the selection and adoption of open standards and data exchange between different national data models and concepts. Non-Member-States like Norway and Japan are also welcomed.

Joris Gresnigt, Community Chair

Joris is an Advisor to the Secretary of the Standardisation Forum of the Netherlands. He is responsible for open standards (selection and adoption) and international cooperation. He participates in the ISA/IDABC expert groups CAMSS and EIF. Standardisation Forum supports the Dutch government in the use, development and establishment of open standards for electronic exchange.

Community Roadmap

Roadmap ARSOS

A community roadmap is currently being developed. It will cover the start-up and activation of the commmunity, determination of topics and the preparation of a meeting in Oslo in Q1. Q2 shall give insight in the way different member states deal with standards, a list of standards and the adoption of standards. The focus in Q3 will be on semantic interoperability, in Q4 on Member State involvement in standardisation bodies.
